Admission to the UG programmes of engineering is competitive and will be made through JEE Mains exam through the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) to the condition that students must have obtained 75% marks (65% for SC/ST candidates) in 10+2 or be in the top 20 percentile in 10+2 conducted by the respective Boards.
Admissions are open for Foreign Nationals/Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs)/Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) under Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) Scheme.

Admission to PG programmes of engineering are commonly based on GATE score and the admissions are through the Centralized Counseling. The programs require competitive scores in both GATE and an All India Entrance Exam conducted by the admitting department while making admissions.
