Spartan has been blacklisted by medical licensing boards in GMC UK and the California Medical Board as well as problems in Texas and otherstates. They are recognized as having poor facilities. Most of their students are not able to get a visa to go to the United States to do clinical rotations. So, they must do it at St. Lucia’s small hospital.

Spartan’s CAAM-HP is listed as not being extended past 2018.CAAM—HP is the legal body that was established in 2003 and is authorised to approve as well as recommend the programs and the facilities and to approve programmes for medical, dental, veterinary and other health professions education for the parties forming CARICOM.

Spartan University of Health Sciences is also known as St. Lucia Health Sciences University. They are blacklisted by California Medical Board for licensing or training 06-13-85, blacklisted by the Medical Licensing Board of Indiana as of 10/18/1984. And not approved for licensing in the United Kingdom.
